FAQs

  • Q: How many training sessions will it take to see results?

A: This depends on how much time you spend reinforcing your dog’s training program that we create. Most clients begin to see results in just one (1) or two (2) sessions when fully committed to their customized training program.

  • Q: I have more than one dog. Can you train them all in one session?

A: For in-home and private virtual lessons, we can train more than one dog in your household with no additional charge.  If you need more time for multiple dogs, you can book a 90 minute session!

  • Q: When are training appointments available?

    A: Business hours are:

    Sunday:  9am-5pm
    Monday:  Closed
    Tuesday:  9am-6:30pm
    Wednesday:  9am-10:30am
    Thursday:  9am-6:30pm
    Friday:  9am-6:30pm
    Saturday:  9am-5pm

  • Q: How much time do I need to spend on the training program?

A: Our trainer will coach you to continue with the training she does during your session. 10-15 minutes a day is suggested for most training programs.

  • Q: Do you train any dog breed?

    A: Absolutely!

  • Q: How old does my dog have to be to start training?

A: We’ve trained dogs as young as 5 weeks old.  Generally, the younger they start training, the better.  When a dog learns good habits early, they don’t have as much of a chance to learn bad habits!  Because we come to the home, we can help you train even before the dog has had all their vaccines.

  • Q: Is my dog too old to begin training?

A: Probably not.  We have gotten FANTASTIC results helping to change many senior dogs’ habits, including jumping, running out the front door, and leash-pulling!

  • Q: How do I get started with a training program?

A: You can easily schedule online (click the “Schedule An Appointment” button).  You can also call, text or e-mail us to schedule training.
